The best way to install the shafts and belt is to put the belt around the shafts and install them together, then place the front cover on.
The inner diameter of the the pipes need to be small enough to seat on the inner races but not so small that you end up pressing the pipes onto the shafts as well. You will also need two lengths of pipe that are long enough to install the bearings on the side of the shafts that have the longer shafts. If you don't have access to a press you can use a large C-clamp but don't tap them on with a hammer and punch. I used an arbor press to install the new bearings. this manual is intended for the installation of the po w erdyne supercharger kit. I wanted to build a supercharger that would run reliably for 100,000 miles so I used ceramic for both shafts. In the ceramic bearing kits offered by 928 Motorsports and Supercharger Rebuilds only the impeller shaft bearings are ceramic hybrids. I got the ceramic hybrid bearings from VXB bearings. After a doing a little research I decided to attempt to rebuild the Powerdyne supercharger.
